I’m too lazy to blog in detail about what I’ve been doing for the past few days. Haven’t been taking much pictures, so in summary here’s just a few things:

• MST’s over (can never be happier about this!)
• Had my fringe and hair trimmed.
• Dinner with Jon & Amanda at Subway.
• Had bak kut teh for supper with Jon, Amanda, Johnathan Lim & Vincent
• Went to Chinatown to change for HK buckeroos!
• First meet up with Jon’s Uni Melb friends for dinner at Newton Market. They’re a group of nice people! Rather easy to get along. (:

Today – Spent the entire morning and early afternoon at home, and I spent the entire morning packing my luggage. I’m not done with packing though, because I get distracted with doing something on the net every 5 minute or so. The bad habit of mine. /: I hope I don’t miss out anything if not I’d suffer during the trip.

Headed over to Jon’s place later in the afternoon. Xing Ying came over, and she drove the both of us to Jurong Point where we bought our hair dye from Watsons. Headed back to Jon’s place, and then Xing Ying helped me to dye my hair. Anyway, I bought the Liese hair dye that has been greatly advertised on TV, but it seriously isn’t easy to use! The foam was quite hard to produce initially, and the smell is very terrible (like the normal hair dyes) and I dropped quite a bit of hair! ): Thank God I had a helper who was actually quite pro with directing me on what to do so I’d probably get the colour even out all around my hair.

So Hello to Brunette hair! :D I really like the outcome of my hair colour though! (: Xing Ying, please take a picture when you’ve dyed your hair okay! Hope the colour turns out good for you too! (:

Xing Ying drove us (The Chau brothers, Jolene, their maid & I) to her place thereafter! BBQ for dinner! (: I had a really filling dinner at her place, and Jon just ate non-stop I swear. He needs to learn how to discipline himself on food intake rather than to binge non-stop!

Today I felt really satisfied with myself during Ophathalmic Dispensing practical. Maybe because of the things I get to do at work, it helped me manage to finish all the tasks relatively swiftly. Not being complacent, but I feel satisfied with myself and grateful of the experience I get at work. In addition, I got to know my grades for Competency Test for the clinic component from the previous semester and I’m very satsified with myself! But I still believe I can do better than that. Last semester, gotta strive I hope! :D

Work today was satisfying somehow, and I enjoyed myself despite working for 10 hours! Slowly finding a great form of enjoyment at work though I gotta admit that I’m damn lazy sometimes. q:

Just bought the airtickets for Jon & I to Macau this December! :D We wanted to take Jetstar to Hong Kong but realised that it was cheaper if we took Tiger Airways to Macau and then take a ferry over. To add on, we’ll get to visit another city how fun is that! :D Love going to tour around the world with my favourite boy. (: Another reason to be looking forward to the Jon’s arrival. Oh, and Raymond will be coming together too!

Though I gotta admit that my bank account’s almost drained to zilch right now, I think it’s all going to be really worth it! :D Already coming up with a list of things that I’d want to buy in Hong Kong. Knee-length boots, I want them still! Would be so nice if I can wear trench coats, boots and all! So fun hee! Going to create an excel file and transfer it into my phone to track our travelling expenses. Not forgetting endless of good food! Dim sum, Hong Kong Cafe, nice desserts, bird nest and more! (Okay I should stop thinking before my hunger vibes are activated.) I’m feeling so excited now! :D

I think I should perhaps come up with a travel checklist since I’m doing this quite a fair bit right now! :D

And hee, even though Jon’s in Melbourne right now. He dated me to watch New Moon with him! :D I don’t know why he’d want to watch this movie with me, but I think it’s probably because he knows that I’m totally in love with Edward. He even told me he wants to dress up as Edward for his Uni Halloween Party, which he didn’t go anyway. -.-” This guy just likes to irritate me by acting like those Hollywood dudes I like. /:

Going for St. Marg’s alumni band tomorrow, and I’m looking forward to playing the flute again! :D Then I’d be down to Jon’s place to visit his family and then stayover. His Grandparents are back from their China trip, and his granny specially asked me to visit her when she’s back. I hope they’re all well. (:

Met up with Amanda today for late lunch at Burger Shack, at King’s Arcade (beside Coronation Plaza)! I don’t understand how come such good stuff didn’t exist when I was still schooling in St. Marg’s! Now they even have Starbucks and New York New York there! Not that NYNY serves really good food, but it’s a luxury!

I got myself a Veggie Portobello Burger, because I love mushrooms! :D Seems like I am turning into a vegetarian soon! Love the ambiance of the place; cosy, just the way I like it. At least it makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. Relatively good food for the kind of price you are paying for! Heard from Amanda that they make the pattis themselves! Thumbs up for Freshness! (Y)

Went over to Starbucks thereafter, and again, I managed to curb my temptation to get myself a cup of Green Tea Frappe and settled for ice water instead! A million reasons for me to be in a saving mode right now. Usual long chats with her, and we talked so much! Laughed quite a bit at silly things, talking about how life has been treating us; just the usual girls chat with her. (:

Took a bus home, and the ride was terrible! When I was one stop away, the reckless bus driver jam-braked and everyone that was standing fell. That includes me. My shoe & socks flew off (literally) and I fell on the ground, and only to realise that I ended up with my right feet bleeding and a relatively huge abrasion mark from the friction against the uneven floor on my knee too. I was so annoyed because I didn’t have any tissue paper for me to clean up my wound, so I left it bleeding. Then I had to take a 20 minutes walk home from where the bus stopped at because the driver was reissuing bus tickets for the passengers to take another ride. I couldn’t even walk properly and felt like I was putting my body weight on the side of my feet, which was terribly uncomfortable! Told my Mom about it when I got home, and she said I could actually lodge a complain about it. Grrrrr! I’m so sure I’m going to wake up with a bruises on my right leg tomorrow! >:(

Happier things, I’m probably going to drain my bank account to pay for 2 air tickets to Hong Kong in December! I love travelling to new places with Jon, and Raymond is going too! This sounds so exciting, but this spells bankruptcy on my side! But nevermind, because my friends tell me to just spend the money because they can always be earned back. With that, I’m going to wave byebye to $1k from my bank! ): Talked to Raymond on MSN till quite late last night while Jon was sleeping (Jon, please know that I’ve your room mate as my spy!) talking about our tentative itenary!

With this, it means that the current travelling plans from now till next year would be:

1. Hong Kong in December 2009
2. Bangkok in March 2010
3. Melbourne in late July till August 2010
4. Tentatively a sponsored trip to Thailand by Acuvue when I work in the shop next year!

This is so Exciting! :D

Work passed rather quickly today, which is something I really like. Busy doing refraction and doing sales; quite a huge sense of achievement today! (: And to end off the day, Hazel & her friend came down and make glasses! So thankful for supportive friends like these. (: Gotta admit that I kept disturbing Hazel in front of her friend, omg so bad. Lol.

My Dad picked me off from work, and we went to pick my brother up at Bishan after his work too. And since we were early, my Dad parked somewhere nearby. The engine was turned off, and only the radio was left on. It was quiet, a little serene from the buzzling day at work, and then we started talking. I realised I do need time like this, even if it was only 5 minutes long. I haven’t been talking to my Dad like this, and I miss him. ): I need more family time; my parents are supportive of whatever I want to do as long as I am capable of it. I’m so thankful for them.

I just booked the air tickets to Bangkok next year for Jia Sheng, Matt & I! Am I brave or what to offer to help them book the tickets?! q: If anything went wrong, it’d be 3x the mistake done! You guys better come and pay me soon, my bank account is evaporating faster than water. ): Hey guys, guess what?! I just realised that we need to check in at 5am in the morning. Oh my gosh, bless us!

Oh boy, so much travel plans with too little money. ): If Jon & Raymond still wants to go to Hong Kong in December this year, I gotta work my lungs out (which I think I’m already doing so) so I can sponsor Jon & I for this trip. Of course I’d wish to go, but if only my finances allow me to. Not forgetting that I’m probably going to Melbourne for a month next year. I’m so going to work my lungs out. 1001 things to be excited about for the year 2010! :D

On a side note, I’ve been thinking of what I want to achieve for the next few years. And it’s weird how all they actually changed over the time. From getting a pass in lower secondary, to getting 13 points for my O’s, and to hoping to get a GPA of 3.5 (hoping because my GPA is only 3.19 omg so sad). And though now I’m still going to strive for the final semester in poly, I realised it’s no longer just the academic excellence I’m trying to achieve. It’s so much more than that; and I think I’m slowly finding myself to experience subtle stress from working. Gotta admit that though retail hours are long and they can get really boring, but when it’s busy and you get a lot of things done, it’s the self-satisfaction achieved.

For the last few weeks, Jon’s Dad offered to hire me to work for him; under The Management Staff. He wants to teach me how to run the company next year. It’s a little too fast – and a bit too crazy in my opinion - and I told him that I’m not ready, and that I will be planning to work somewhere else after a year or two under his guidance. There’s so much more I should be trying out elsewhere really settle down at and work like how his father did. People asked me if it feels weird working under your Boyfriend’s family. Nope, not at all. I don’t get special treatment, I don’t get higher pays than usual part-timers, and I do chores like moving the stocks around, packing and unpacking. For those people who judge just because they think they know, they don’t know at all.

Morphing from a student, and soon into an working individual. Life hasten so quickly I find it a little scary. /:
