Back in 2007
Just arrived back home from work when I saw some facebook notifications on one of the older videos I was in.
Replayed the video, and I was damn amazed at how good we sounded. The days where band practices were long and tiring, the days when we had extra sectionals working very hard for the section competition, the days where I kept playing the flute it makes me feel so stressed, the days that I got closer to a group of people whom I still cherish even though I stopped going for band.
And if I may just share, the champion section for Singapore Poly Band Section Competition in 2007…

I miss playing in a band, really.

I’m looking forward to graduation day where I can meet up with all the familiar faces again. And then, this will be the last time I’d be looking at the school building calling myself a student (for now). I am actually quite sad that Jon can’t be there to witness my graduation since it may probably be my last graduation as well. Really wished that he could be here though. ):
Anyway, who is sitting where? Anyone that’s gonna be sitting near me?
On a side note, my dear friends are also welcomed to visit me on my graduation, heehee! :D
To be honest, I’d admit that my memory has failed me along the way, forgetting about a lot of wonderful memories and moments I once had. That’s why I love taking pictures. They dig out these amazing times I had that were left untouched in a corner of my mind.
Very proud to be a St. Margaret’s girl. Gained so much through that 5 years in my life – memories, knowledge and of course weight! ):

Results are out, and I’ve gotten the best GPA in the 6 semesters. Ironically, though the year seemed like the longest and toughest year, out of the 3, my third year results seemed to be the best too. Not the best and most hardworking student around, but I’m thankful and satisfied.
One thing I’m really pleased with myself is getting an AD for CCA with 105 points! :D Most of which comes from band (which I do miss, really) of course. But please kindly ignore the part about getting a bronze for NAPHA. That doesn’t contribute to my happiness since I was 3 seconds away from getting a silver (ugh)! >:(
And now, the next thing I’ve to worry about is about applying for my license as an Optometrist from the OOB/MOH. /: For now, I’ve officially graduated from Singapore Polytechnic. (:
Yesterday was the final day where we need to touch on our FYP. You’ve no idea how long I’ve waited for this day to come, and it’s finally over. Met up with the guys early in school to rehearse the entire presentation over and over again, just for that 30 minutes of our lives.
I was chosen to be doing the beginning of the presentation, and it being the first time official talking through a mike, I was feeling really nervous. I am not too sure how I sounded to the crowd, but for sure I knew that I was experiencing the micro tremors going through me! ): I don’t think I performed well sadly, though I thought that the guys did really well. I really wished that I was a lot more confident, a lot more capable than what I am.
Competency test, done.
Business report, done.
Now it’s only left with FYP Presentation (which is on Monday) and Clinical Test. One more week of school before I set free! And hey, I’ve already got the whole of the next week packed with activities right after freedom arrives! :D
Monday – CNY day two was a bore because there were no visiting plans. My parents left for a one-day trip to Malacca, and I was home the entire time till late afternoon. Had only an apple for lunch because I wasn’t hungry considering that I didn’t have dinner the night before, so yay to that!
Took a train down to The Chau’s because I was invited over for dinner since Jolene was coming over for dinner. (:

Why do I look like I am singing to myself while cutting the salmon?!
