I’m quite a skincare junkie this way!

I remember 4 years ago, Jon would actually tell me how dirty my face is. Dirty as in black heads, pimples and whatever ugly rubbish found on my face. But today, he tells me my complexion has improved over time! (: When I was much younger, I never believed in using skincare products, and “if you have good skin, you have it”! Until it disturbed me. /:

Most of my leisure spendings would definitely go into getting myself skincare products; masks, facial foams, toner & moisturizers and whatever that works. And I’ve to admit that’s a hefty amount of money I have invested in. (But hey, tell yourself this is a long term investment!) And because it’s an expensive investment, I’d always go for the best and what’s affordable possible. Random fact: all of my skincare products are either Japanese or Korean; Kose, Laneige, Cure, Face Shop Eye Patch, My Beauty Diary masks! Go for what that suits your skin best, that’s why I get only asian brands! :D

Have heard about Hada Labo’s hydrating products and I got to try them! :D It has been raved about in Japan, and it’s definitely one of the top selling skincare products! Tried out the hydrating facial wash and the super hyaluronic acid lotion, and it’s nothing but awesome!

Super Hyaluronic Acid Lotion

The texture of this facial foam is absolutely awesome! It’s rich and thick, yet it feels really smooth and soft across when you cleanse the face! If you do not already know, a good facial foam shouldn’t leave a squeaky clean feeling on your face (try those cheap $2 facial foams and you’ll know the difference) because it is too drying for your skin. The cleansing foam definitely passes this criteria because it works really well! :D

Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion

The hydrating lotion is totally smooth! When I first applied it on my face, the lotion literally cause my fingers to glide across my face! And that really left me feeling surprised! One of the best thing is that it doesn’t have any fragrance. (And I hope it’s not because I have a nose block or something! q:)

Oh, and in case you don’t know, hyaluronic acid is a natural component that’s found in different parts of the body such as cartilage, skin and the vitreous humour therefore it is very well-suited for biomedical applications! And if you don’t know, with a moisturized face your make up will stay radiant on your face for a longer period of time. And of course, a moisturized face will naturally look more radiant than that of the opposite!

After all the years of tears and sweat they’ve put in, every mother deserves to be pampered like a Queen! <3

It took me a long time to plan for this very day. I planned to take both my Mom & Jon’s Mom out for a good relaxation day in-lieu of Mother’s Day, and I had to call up everywhere and arrange a booking for two at the same timing! It was such a difficult task since it was Mother’s Day. Finally managed to get a booking for the two Mothers for a massage, but Jon’s Mom called me earlier today and told me she couldn’t join us because she was feeling sick. ): Was feeling quite sad that she couldn’t join us considering the fact that I’ve put in so much effort into planning. Then when I told my Mom that Aunty wasn’t joining us anymore, she said that she didn’t want to go for the massage and said that she can go for one another time. -.-” So nothing I have planned or arranged took place. /:

Was feeling a little vain today so I dressed up! So vain that I’ve decided to wear my highest killer heels out to streets and kill my legs today. Truth to be told, I was felt that it is totally a waste of my money if I spent $50 on this pair of heels and have only worn them out once. Was just trying to make my money worthwhile. q:

Brought my Mom to Ding Tai Fung for lunch, and I believe that she enjoyed her meal! :D Talked about work and random things over lunch, and I really love having one-to-one sessions with my Mom. It’s always my Mom giving me a treat, but now that I’ve started working, it’s time to pamper her! (: I spent a lot lesser than I was expected on this meal, but a lot more throughout the entire day. ):

I wonder if you noticed, but there’s hardly any meat in the dishes I’ve ordered. I think I’m turning into a vegetarian really soon.

Think I look really fat and chubby here. ): My hairdo looks like one that’s of a lion’s. ):

It was shopping thereafter, and I brought my Mom to the Laneige Counter at Wisma’s Isetan! Wanted to show her all the skincare products since I’ve been thinking of changing mine for quite a while already, and yes I bought them in the end. The salesgirl’s also my customer, and she is really friendly and patient explaining to the both of us the individual functions of each product! :D She even threw in a hell lot of samples for both my Mom and I! Bought one of the essence for my Mom as a Mother’s Day gift because I could tell she wanted one.

Total damage just at Laneige’s counter: $254. But I hope this is a worthy investment! Every month, most of my expenditure goes to skincare products and food. This is really bad. But I guess one reason why I decided to buy them is because I love the salesgirl, she’s way too nice and patient. Gonna throw in free contact lenses/solutions for her the next time she buys her lenses, heehee.

Shopped around for a little more, but no more spending! Really wanted to get Ettusais’ lip essence since my lip’s always really dry, but I guess I’ll save that for the next month or something. I really need to have better control my own finances.

Dinner with my family (except for my second brother who was working) and Granny! :D Had sliced fish noodles at Amoy Food Centre, our usual sliced fish noodles hangout, but it was quite a disappointment because their standards have dropped quite a fair bit. ): But oh well, I enjoyed the company. Dinner was on me too! :D One really good thing about working is that you are financially independent from your parents, and you can pamper them in return too! :D

(Okay, but I am seriously broke after today. So no more luxury spending on food or any other items any more!)

It’s a really simple day, but something that makes me feel really happy and satisfied with. Probably one of my most satisfying off days till date. (: I need to spend more quality time like these with the people I really love.

One really sad thing for the night, I think I have gained like 123912390128301283kg! My face is just so fat. ): Okay, I am fat. Need to eat air for the next few months until I become ideal looking!

And because I’m so happy with my shopping loots for today (even though it caused some heartache), I’ve got to share them! :D

The one on the extreme left is for my Mom, and the rest’s mine! q: Sunblock, toner, essence, and moisturizer are my essentials for my basic daily beauty regime. My face will thank me for my discipline in the future, I hope.

And these are all the FREE gifts I got from my purchase! :D Apart from the samples (packed in small paper packs) that were thrown in by the lovely salesgirl , the rest are free gifts from the Mother’s Day promotion! The amount of free gifts I got are a lot more than what I bought! :D

On top of these, I actually have got a free small trolley luggage (good for travelling) because I spent more than $200! Is this great or great?! HEEEHEEE!

A really random entry that resulted from boredom. I’m such a dreamer. I guess working makes me think of what are things I want to achieve in life. It’s not about getting As any more,  it’s about feeling happy. But I guess it doesn’t kill to dream once in a while, right? Life would be such a monotonous video playing over and over again if you don’t dream.

I’m glad at least I’ve a dream. (:

For the past few days, I was thinking how would I want my 21st birthday celebration to be. Jon asked me how I’d want to plan my party, but didn’t really thought much about it until more people started asking me the same thing on the very same day. ): It may be only April right now, but if I really want to plan something, I guess I should start doing so now.

Initially, I thought that since I never had a birthday party ever before since I was born, it may be a good idea to just have one on this special day. I found a potential wonderful location to hold this party, but only to find that it will actually cost me a hell lot to book the place. ):

Maybe I should just have many different dinner sessions with the different group of people I love? My two families, St. Margaret’s honeys, DOPT family, SP Band lovelies, and maybe a few more random people. As much as I really wish to have a huge party and invite everyone (I’ve came up with a list of people I’d wanna invite, and it came up to about 50 people. Madness!) I really can’t imagine having to host all these people without really enjoying myself. ): Maybe separate events will be good.

And maybe these will make an ideal 21st birthday party to me!

1) Flowers
I am, honestly, fine with not receiving flowers (and I am not a big fan of them). But when I actually receive these beautiful thing, my heart just soften immediately.

2) Cakes
I am not a fan of chocolates (yes, you got that right! I belong to the minority), so I won’t want to have a chocolate cake for my birthday. But I am a die-hard fan for fruity ice-cream and cheesecakes, so maybe a combination of a cheesecake flavoured ice-cream cake will be perfect! (Wait, does such a thing even exist?)

3) Dinner
I’d usually want the actual day of my birthday to be slow and easy, to take things at my own pace. Probably explains why I wouldn’t want to have a party on the actual day if I had one, and spend the day with Jon if he’s around.

And being such a food lover, I’d definitely want to pamper myself with something nice with my fellow food-indulgent boyfriend.

This is something I MUST get for myself this birthday. In fact, before my birthday, so that I can snap down all those wonderful moments (whether I have a party or not) with this awesome camera. It’s a little costly, but it’s an investment and I am going to work hard and save for it. I know I will love this Baby before I get my first DSLR.

In addition to this, I’d love to have all these toy cameras too!

5) Something new
I have no idea what, but I’d really want to do something new.

6) Lazy night

I think I am too bored, hence the entry. To be honest, I don’t really need a fanciful and extravagant birthday. I just want it to be memorable and happy. It’s actually just another birthday that reminds you that you are a year older, and you have to behave like you are ready to deal with the cruel world, isn’t it? I don’t really want that. ):

But secretly… I think I’d have more ideas up in my mind for my future-engagement party rather than my 21st birthday party.

A result from being bored stiff!

Met up with March yesterday for a girly catch up session! And as usual, before I left the house, I received two a message from this girl saying that she’ll be late. Tell me what’s new! :P Decided that I should take a picture of my outfit for the day since I was bored stiff at home waiting for time to pass.

But guess what? March was still late even though the meeting time was changed. This girl will never change her habit of being late! Since we were famished, we settled for Pontian Wanton Noodles at Far East Plaza. Cheap food ftw! (: Shopped around the mall without any intention to buy anything was good too! :D March got herself a blazer, which I really thought was nice! Blazers are good investments. I’m always in for clothes that will never go out of trend! (Y)

Walked over to ION, and we shared a large ice-cream from the Food basement. A recommendation by March, and it was my first time trying – Blueberry Cream Cheese Ice-cream! I love anything cheesy yay! We sat down and had a heart-to-heart talk for a long time, I like! :D Then she decided that she wants to go back to Far East Plaza to shop again! Fickle is her middle name.

After dessert, March and I went separate ways where I met up with Amanda for a dinner date together. Haven’t seen this girl for quite a while already! She brought me to try Go! Go! CURRY at ION’s food level, and it’s indeed a gem hidden in the midst of the average! The curry was good, and we ordered a big plate (called Grand Slam I think) for two to share! Heard it from her that it is very famous in Japan, and the best of all is that it’s rather affordable!  (:

Veronica came over to join us, and then we headed over to Starbucks just to chat till 10pm. The two girls seem to have quite a stressful yet interesting internship experience, and I really feel motivated by them at the way they’re working towards their career. I’m impressed, really. It’s actually quite interesting to have friends who are working in the PR/media industry, and I do feel that their job is so interesting although it has a price to pay (lack of rest and loads of stress). Very proud of them actually. (:

I went to the salon today and still gave it a go despite my usual hairstylist wasn’t there. Obviously, I regretted. ): Now my hair’s so short it’s weird and ugly! ): If I still feel ugly about myself tomorrow, I might just want to head back down and find my usual hairstylist and get an even shorter hair cut. It’s neither here nor there now, might as well just get it really short. So much for wanting to keep it long and then get my waves. ):

But then again, I think it’s not the length of the hair that bothers me. The fringe. It’s the fringe. I look like an ugly primary 5 nerd I can kill myself now. ): I want my fringe back. *looks at the pictures above, then sulk.* ):

Lunar New Year is definitely one of my favourite favourite festive season along with Christmas! (:

The first day of CNY has been rather good! My family only left the house for visiting in the late afternoon, and the first stop was my to my god-grandma’s (Daddy’s godma) house! To be honest, we only visit them once a year we aren’t really that close. Apparently I do not feel weird being there, but maybe it’s because I was just busy indulging in the widespread of food. /:

Looking at my colourful eye shadow makes me very happy. Love the freedom to mix and match from this palette! <3 Very lasting colours, and it has served me well for the past year! (:

My Dad sent me to the nearest station, and I headed to The Chau’s Residence. I had quite a lot of fun playing Black Jack, which is almost a CNY tradition! :D But apparently I lost $9, so sad! ): When it comes to gambling, there never seems to be much luck with me, be it Black Jack or Mahjong. No such thing as beginner’s luck for me. Jon and I definitely shouldn’t be on a gambling site because it’s the same for the both of us. ):

Grandma’s place was next, and it was so nice seeing all my relatives all over again. Without a doubt, almost all of them asked where Jon was and I had to repeat the same thing to them every time. But whenever I talk about him, I can feel the smug and pride in me because we are still going very strong together despite being in a long distance relationship! (Y) And since some of my cousins have already gotten married and has kids, my Aunt asked when will it be my turn. I’m not even 21 yet goodness. -.-”

And Honey was being such a sweetie. He called me when I was at my Granny’s and he wished her and my parents Happy Lunar New Year over the phone. My Grandma was so happy she was smiling all the time when she received a short phone call all the way from Australia! :D

My cute little cousin, who seems to be recovering well from the traumatic incident last year. (: Jon talked to her on the phone as well, but she was too shy!

Amanda told me that Jon asked her to catch Valentine’s Day with me because I wanted to, and will pay for both of our tickets as a Valentine’s Day gift for me! *Awwwwwww* Seriously, this boy melts me with his little acts that may mean nothing to the world but everything to me. Thanks Baby, I really appreciate your effort and thought! (:

Ohhhh, and it makes me grin to myself on the inside when my relatives said that my face has became sharper! :D

Played Black Jack with my Dad and brothers again when we were back home, and I won $8 from being the banker! :D It was quite funny how my youngest brother lost quite a tad initially and said that he didn’t want to play any more. Then he came back and joined us again in less than 5 minutes omg. Hilarious!

On a side note, I loved the way I did my eye make up today even though they are probably not obvious in photos for some reason. A combination of pink and grey/black! :D Truth to be told, I love the double-eyelids-effect whenever I put on my eye make up when I only have single eyelids!

There’s no V’day vibes that was going through me, which is good! CNY > V’day any time! And now, what should I wear tomorrow? Didn’t really go for any CNY shopping, so I guess it’ll depend on my mix and match skills.

I am actually at Victoria Secret’s website looking at their products right now, but it’s ridiculous because I am actually looking at winter clothes to be exact. I just love dressing up for the winter but Singapore doesn’t even experience winter or at least a weather that’s cold enough for you to wear thicker clothes! Seems like I am going to add more things to my wishlist right now. /:

Just got back from school not too long ago. I was suffering from a throbbing headache (from the terribly hot weather probably), and still had to stare and look in the computer for so long which of course didn’t make me feel any better. ): I almost fell asleep during FYP meeting with Mrs Tan, and she went to take out wasabi peas for our group to eat. Oh gosh, it was so embarrassing Matt just laughed at me like mad. -.-”

School has been crazy, life has been really packed. Have been working every single day like a robot since last week, and this will continue for 3 more weeks. Every single day means 6 days of school and 1 day of work. Sometimes I even head down to work after school when I end classes early. So make that 1.5 days of work. I need a breather, but I think I should be able to hang in there till it’s over.

In addition, I feel so bad because I haven’t had our usual long calls lately because I’m busy. ): I hope I can spare more time for my love, especially when he’s alone in the entire house right now. Wish I could be there for you Baby. ): But every time I see my phone ringing with your name appearing, it lightens up my mood by a whole lot even though they were just short calls. (: Meanwhile, study hard darling!

And I finally managed to apply my mud pack (as you can see!) after weeks when it was supposed to be a weekly affair. Just couldn’t find the time to pamper myself a little more with my usual beauty regime with all 7 days taken up. Not really complaining because I chose to work on my only day free from school (because I need to earn some money)! Gonna slap on a MBD mask after I shower while doing my FYP report again.

5 more weeks, just hang in there Kellyn! It’ll all be over soon.

It was such an enriching experience I’d really love to attend another of such session! Gotta mention that I felt a little inspired to be helping the people to improve their vision and health. Afterall, optometrists are the in the primary eye care & health line! Maybe that’s why despite the complains about how terrible school is, I do enjoy my course. Really. I just hope I can contribute to the society in whatever way I can in the future. (:

Left the session a little early because I had clinic. Was so reluctant because I really think I’d learn a lot more over at the TTSH! Cabbed down to West Coast for clinic with Jeff and Gwen, and we were a lot earlier than expected! What a waste, or not I’d be able to see the last patient that I missed. ): Anyway clinic was fine, and I am glad that my patients didn’t fly my kite! At least I am another step nearer to hitting my quota. (:

Pailin, Ziwei and I went to Botak Jones to buy some mashed potato and mushrooms for Yan Shan since it’s her favourite, and we were celebrating her birthday after that. But we were so hungry we bought one for ourselves too! Yiliang drove, so he came to pick us up followed by Mr Sean Lee, and drove to Kovan together. Apparently, we ended up somewhere in Seng Kang and went in rounds or an hour or so trying to find our way to get to Kovan! /: It was fun though! I guess this is the fun of being a student still.

Had Ponggol Nasi Lemak for dinner! (: Food was quite good and the queue was crazily long! We headed down to the hawker place beside Heartland Mall thereafter, for cake cutting and then the rest of the time were just spent on sitting around and chatting together. (:

When everyone decided to go home after the celebration, Janice, Pei Yu, Yan Shan, Ziwei and I decided to just hang around Macs to catch up. We talked about so many things, random or not, till 3am in the morning goodness! It was fun though. (: We talked about traumatic experience of meeting into perverts and then all of us became a little scared when it was about time to go. Hahaha! Thanks Janice for sending all of us back home! (:

Amanda and I had a skype call after I washed up, and I only slept at about 5am. Goodness gracious me, I really hate crashing so late! But it has been a long time since I last had a late night chat with a girlfriend over the phone, and it was a close-to-heart talk. (:

Sunday –  Dragged myself out of bed again because I was feeling so tired. But thankfully I managed to sleep in till 12pm, or else I’d kill myself. Met up with my Soulmate after such a long time! And then the best thing is that I forgot to bring the present I got for her. -.-” We met at Chinatown because she needed to buy some stuff, and we had cheap food at the hawker centre! :D I am glad she liked my usual, sour and spicy sze chuan vermicelli ! (:

Shopping in town thereafter. Shopping for Stacey, window shopping for me. (: Actually there was a pair of heels that caught my eye at F21, but ugh, the smallest size available was only 7. I’m a size 6! ): It was totally worth the money, considering the quality and how sexy it was. Totally love heels that’s 3 inches or higher! I found it on the web with the size that I want, but I don’t know if I should still get it. I asked the staff to help me keep a lookout for my size and gave her my contact number, but I doubt she’d really do it for me. ): Should I buy it online, or not?

Quite impressed with the 4 storey high F21 at 313 Somerset though! It might just be the next hangout place for me! (: We went to Orchard Central for some ice-cream! Gelare my all-time favourite, which I have not eaten for the longest of time seriously! If only there were as many Gelare outlets as before. ): Was feeling a little adventurous so I tried a new flavour, cookie and dough, and it was nice! :D We sat there for along time and talked about a lot of random stuff too! I love this girl to bits! <3

The entire day was just filled with laughter I swear! Laughing at the most random things, making a fool out of ourselves, and being ourselves and updating each other about the things that happened. It was just like an escapade away from the crazy school I’ve gotta deal with every day, and I really needed this.

Tonight was a good seeing myself having some me-time. Applied my hair mask (finally, after a thousand years of not doing so) and worked my beauty regime while editing the slides for the clinical presentation. Got more work to touch on, but I guess that’s all for the day. I haven’t talked to Jon much for the past few days because I was busy though he dropped me short calls. I hope I didn’t neglect the boy too much, because he’s probably feeling a little lonely with all his housemates absent from the house. I’ll talk to you tomorrow night, sweetie! (:

This is the end of the 1st week of term 4. Tomorrow’s Monday, and it’s going to be a long one though I only have 2 hour of class. Project meetings, and more project meetings. Can’t wait to be over and done with for school! Gotta hang in there and get through the coming week!

Met up with Jon at IKEA today because I wanted to satisfy my craving for IKEA’s poached salmon, meatballs & chicken wings. Apparently they changed their menu and there’s no more poached salmon! ): And it seems like nothing much from the new menu catches my eye. /: Settled for Meatballs with Pasta, chicken wings & their soup of the day! Meatballs with pasta was a regret, because I didn’t like the sauce used, and it was quite a dread trying to finish it. Should have just ordered the meatball set instead because the sauce is much nicer too!

Walked around IKEA thereafter to find the full length mirror that I wanted to buy. But Jon stopped me from buying because he thinks that it’d be quite a hassle for us to carry the mirror to his place first, then back to mine. ): So I guess we gotta head back down on another day.

Anchorpoint thereafter and walked around for a little while before settling at TCC. I’ve always wanted to treat this boy to my favourite drink – Nougat Milkshake! :D While waiting for the drink to be served, we took loads of pictures just to kill time. Teehee, I love camwhoring with my boyfriend! :D

Both of us crashed the bed the moment we got to his place, and then it was dinner! Rest of the time was just spent lazing around his house, helping the guy pack his luggage and checking the net on HK. His parents sent the both of us to my place, and there’s where I worked my usual beauty regime on my favourite boy! :D I didn’t apply the mud pack for myself because I did it earlier in the week, so I just slapped on my usual face mask! :D

Mud Pack! :D One of the reasons why I want to apply the mud pack for him was to take my revenge! He made me laugh over the phone (before he came back from Melb) when I was applying this mask. Obviously it cracked. /: But of course the main reason is to just take good care of my boyfriend. (:

Alright, the boy’s already on the bed and I’m left with only 1.5 hours to sleep before I gotta wake up. It could have been 2.5 hours, but I want to doll myself up first hence the sacrifice for sleep! Looking forward to the endless shopping loots & good food I’m going to be welcomed by excites me by a lot. Not forgetting about dressing up for the cold weather, something I may never get to do so in Singapore! :D First thing off my shopping list shall be: knee-length boots & a bag! Oh, and I am also meeting up with Stacey’s best friend, Hilary, whom came by to Singapore last year! (:

The 3rd country we’d be visiting together. This is just too exciting! I love travelling yay! :D

Just today afternoon, my self esteem plunged for some reason when I looked at myself in the mirror. I felt so fat, flawful and ugly. ):

I just like Kristen Stewart’s hair colour here, which is the exact shade of red I’d want to dye, and her complexion. I know she’s probably heavy on make up & the photos are probably photoshopped too, but this is what I wish to achieve. Alessandra Ambrosio’s hot bod is something to die for! I love her over Gisele Budchen.

Jon booked a facial appointment for the both of us tomorrow. Desperately need to remove all the zits and whatever crap that’s on my face, because they’re making me feel lousy about myself! /:

I hardly see any blues in the skies of Singapore, so it makes me feel happy to start my day with a sight like this from my room. (:

The weather lately has been really good. Perfect in my opinion! (: It gets really chilly I can sleep without the fan on, and my bed is still so cooling. Love snuggling under my blanket in such a condition. (Go green too!) I even wore my relatively-too-thick-for-Singapore’s-weather FOX sweater out without feeling warm or something. (:

I didn’t sleep early last night, but I had an ample rest of about 9 hours and I guess that’s good enough. At least I slept through without waking up earlier than I’m supposed to! (: Sports really leave you feeling clear both in the mind & body. At least I woke up feeling refreshed, and have more than enough time to laze around the house before heading for clinic in the afternoon.

Today’s going to be a simple and relaxed day (hopefully clinic’s gonna be relaxing for me too), and will try to sleep early tonight too. (: I’m working only twice this week, and hopefully that gives a lot more me-time. (:

Saturday was such a long day! It saw me waking up at 6.30am to head down to school for a talk, and then it was clinic in the afternoon! My saturday was practically taken up by school, how sad! ): But oh well, clinic was quite good to me that day because my refraction was pretty accurate, considering one of the patients came in without glasses and then turned out to have 200 & 300 degrees of astigmatism! :D Probably thanks to the training I get from working! :D Now I probably lost touch of retinoscopy, so I gotta brush up on my skills soon. Anyway, I felt satisfied with myself considering it’s my first clinic session! :D

Met up with my Girlfriends for dinner in-lieu to our anniversary, a day where we’d make a special attempt to spend time together despite our hectic schedules over the time. We settled at Wala-wala, and the food wasn’t too bad other than the fact my dory fish was a tad too salty. Had red wine to go along with our food as well. A celebration calls for some alcohol to go along! q: We catched up with each other’s life, joked and had loads of fun together. I missed this bunch of crazy girls, & was so glad to meet up with them! (:

Jeanna, Jolyn & March went out to withdraw money, and then came back with a lemon cheesecake from Bread Talk to complement our mini celebration! Really appreciate it, because it was a really nice & sweet act my dears! The cake was quite good too! Or maybe it was just the way we eat our cakes & the company that made it taste better. (: Stayed on for the live band thereafter, and it was good! I love the first set better than the second set though. Listening to the music makes me want to dance along with it too! Music is the soul to the body! :D

I love good quality times like this with my Girlfriends, and my week ended well with their company! So thankful for their presence in my life, and I love every single one of them. Cheers to 5 years of friendship, and many more years to come! (:

Today was spent at home working on the contact lens brochure on Photoshop, which totally lagged my lousy computer the entire time. One very very good reason to get a new laptop – my cursor movement lags like a broken train trying to move from one corner of the screen to the other! >:( Anyway, I’m glad that I’m almost done with the brochure already and I’m only left with one more page! Aim to finish it by tonight! (:

Wanted to take a 30 min long afternoon nap and then I ended up sleeping for 2 hours! /: Really couldn’t find the push to drag myself out from the bed! So when I finally jumped out of the bed, I went to do my hair + face treatment. The lack of sleep is causing pimples to be flying all over across my face! ):

Dinner with my family at Plaza Sing’s Ajisen, along with one of my Dad’s friend. A family dinner that was so difficult to arrange is finally carried out, and I’m glad we did! (: Ajisen’s desserts wasn’t to my liking in any way though. Huge disappointment. /: One by one, everyone in my family is asking when Jon’s coming back because I guess it’s almost time he’d be back! :D On the car ride, my family’s planning about going on a one day road trip to Malacca when Jon gets back! I can see that there’d be endless of good food waiting for us, with my Dad & Jon taking turns to drive around in Malaysia. This sounds so fun, just like the other one day road trip to Desaru in July! :D

For the month of November & December spells endless eating, because that’s when Jon’s back to get fat together with me! Means that from now till his arrival, I should really cut down on my food intake and shed some pounds!

Tomorrow’s the start of another busy week! School, FYP, dinner dates with friends, and work! I’m keeping every single day of my week fully packed with appointments oh dear. I should learn to set aside time to get some rest!

I guess my Baby’s asleep right now, but all the best for your first exam tomorrow sweetheart! I know you’ve been working hard, and will pray for you my dear! (:

Alright, I should go and work on brochure right now!

Absolutely have no idea why whenever I get the time to sleep in, I’d always wake up at around 9am. ): So much of sleeping in. /: Spent the entire morning lazing around the house while talking to my favourite boy. (: I’ve said it a million times, but I’d still say that I wished I had his company here with me to get by days like this. And like I’ve said, 24 more days! Meanwhile, the both of us would probably talk a little lesser since his exams are coming up! Would take a bit of understanding and getting use to, since we’ve been talking on the phone almost everyday.

Headed down to Plaza Singapura by myself in the afternoon, and I had Chicken Teriyaki sandwich from Subway for lunch! And then off to Diaso to get Soba & its sauce, and a packet of instant corn soup for dinner with my youngest brother. Sometimes I do enjoy going out for a short walk alone down the streets, ignoring what’s happening around you and blasting music on my iPod. Own time own target! (:

Bought a bimbotic rubber cover for my phone since I lost my original Nokia pouch a few days back. ): My phone has been feeling very naked. I wanted a leather cover initially, but it seems that I can’t find the ideal one I wanted and I can be really picky when it comes to buying something. The only colour available for this rubber cover was cyan, pink and transparent, so I settled with pink. This is probably the best I can find, and I’m growing on it! (: And I still have the spare Dior pouch that I koped from work to go along with it!

Finally bought a small plastic pouch to put my toothbrush & toothpaste for travelling purposes! And I’m starting to like my bimbo cover! :D

Cooked dinner for my youngest brother and I, and I’m glad it turned out pretty good. At least they didn’t turn out inedible! (: I had to settle for the standard soba instead of my usual green tea soba because it was out of stock. Oh well! /: Mushroom tasted good, and I almost forgot about the garlic! Thank goodness I remembered before cooking. And I concluded that I can never ever cook instant soup that comes in the form of powder. I always have this problem of misjudging the amount of water I need to add. How pathetic. /:

I had to shove my Mom away because she was going to have dinner with her friends, and kept wanting to help/teach me cook the mushrooms before she leaves. I wanted to do this all on my own, and I’m glad I did shove her away! q: At least now I manage to do this all on my own, and I think I should be capable enough to whip up a few more different dishes in no time. (:

Surprisingly dinner turned out very filling, and my brother didn’t complain that the food was too salty or whatsoever! (:

I love going through the day without anything in mind to complete, receiving random calls from Jon while he’s taking a break from studying. I love slow and lazy days like this, a break from the crazy world. This is how life should be.

24 more days to a the return of a Perfect life. I’d still have FYP and loads to make me feel stressed and burnt out, but at least I’d have you to make everything seem better. And I miss studying beside you, because you’d leave short messages of love with your terrible handwritting in my notes. (:

One of which was packing my stuff since I was staying over at Jon’s place. And I realised that the only thing I wanted to bring was my daily beauty stuff (toner, moisturizer, make up remover & etc.) and my make up pouch, since I have my clothes there and what not!

My standard everyday use. On top of these are my mud masks, MBD masks and hair treatment which are used once every 2 days/a week depending on what it is! So vain I know. /:

St. Marg’s alumni band in the afternoon and it feels so good to be playing the flute all over again after so long. The only problem is that my hand and mouth ached after playing for a while due to the lack of practise. ): Caught up with Grace who has been my fellow batch flautist! We used to dislike each other, but then grew to become relatively good bandmates thereafter! So much has changed, and surprisingly both of us are pretty similar when it comes to certain issues about our lives. (: I’m not the only one! q:

After the practise ended, my girls went on separate ways and it was left with Audrey and I to wait for the bus. Apparently I was enjoying the short alone time spent with her talking about some topics which was… Lol, shall not be mentioned here. But oh well, we are on the same boat! :D *Shhhh*

Dinner at The Chau’s. When Jon’s Dad came back from work, Jon’s parents and I had a relatively long talk about a lot of things as usual. Mostly about work, and then seeing me updating them about how their son is doing in Melbourne. I’m very proud of this boy, and I’m sure his parents are as proud of him as I am. Apparently he has been getting really good grades for his assignments; getting the top few results when >50% failed, getting full marks and almost-full marks grades. I know he’s working hard for his future, our future. He’s spending most of his time schooling and studying while I’m spending most of my time schooling and working. Terribly boring lives perhaps, but when we are reunited again it’s going to be nothing less than the epitome of bliss and fun! :D I guess in the midst of this boring life I’ve, I’m still meeting up with friends and enjoying some good time together with them.

Maybe people think it’s weird why I stay over at their place when Jon’s not around. I’m already treating The Chau’s as my family already; I love them like my own and already consider them as one. Change is inevitable, but I hope nothing changes too much.

The only problem being at The Chau’s? That familiar bed never seems as warm as how it used to be when he’s lying beside me. Walking around the house, or anything near that vacinity makes me miss him terribly much. It even reminded me of the time when I acted super pitiful and cute to gain his attention while he’s watching football, and he still ignored me entirely. I even miss the times of being ignored, as long as he’s by my side. ): Makes me hate long-distance so terribly much.

Sunday saw me waking up early and headed down to the pool for a swim. But being the usual forgetful and lazy me, I forgot to bring the goggles down and didn’t want to head back up to get it. /: So I had a short swim and then headed back to wash up for work! Jon’s Grandma offered me to eat some chinese pasteries, and it’s quite delicious! With that, I had to say byebye to the flat (but not taut) tummy I had earlier in the morning. Difficult not to gain some weight after going to their place. ):

 
Love sitting by the poolside just lazing around. Still looking forward to my poolside picnic with Baby when he gets back, along side a whole list of things for us to do when he’s back!

Work today was totally boring! ): People that came in was time-consuming that didn’t end up buying anything, and that’s the worst kind of customers really! /: I was absolutely dying from boredom I was screaming “I’m so bored!” all the time, no joke. ): To end it all, when all the shutters were down there was this weirdo aunty that rushed into the shop. Too lazy to elaborate anything, but she complained that her glasses gave her blur vision and wanted a replacement – when it’s more than a year ago that she bought it, not forgetting that she actually purchased another pair of glasses after that from us. -.-” One reason why I’d want to work on Saturdays instead.

Oh, and there’s this really nice pair of Marc Jacobs sunglasses that’s so comfortable and pretty! I’m wondering if I should get it because I love it, and also because I can get it at a cheaper price of course! Love the bows at the side, so cute! Everyone at work said I should just ask my Mr (Jonathan) Chau to get it for me, lol! But it’s not a need, just that it’s so pretty I love it! And I keep wearing it once or twice whenever I work omg. /:

And my parents picked me up at Commonwealth from work! Save me from walking the super long route at the Outram Park interchange!

Another long week coming right up for me. ): The only thing that keeps me going right now is the Hong Kong-Macau trip in December right now. I can’t wait!
