Thursday was probably the day that I enjoyed work the most! Had a late lunch because Jon was coming over to find me. Brought him to 4 fingers (I’ve no idea how many times I ate this in a month already! D:) to let him try how good the chicken was! And it was a treat from my boy. :D

After lunch, we went to G2000 because Baby had to get himself a suit for the orientation in Los Angeles next month, and I’ve gotta admit he looked really dashing! :D We spent quite a while there, and I thank god for my manager who was being really understanding! She didn’t complain or wasn’t unhappy that I was taking too long (and partly because there was barely any crowd at the shop too). Jon got everything at a really good deal because of the promotion! A suit, two shirts and a tie for only $180! (:

Later that night, Jon picked me off from work and we went to have Rochor Beancurd with Angelina and Hao Rui.

It was my off day on Friday, so Baby and I had a picnic date! :D We woke up early and headed to the supermarket to do some groceries shopping. (: Jon was supposed to be helping me out in the preparation of food but he was sleeping instead. /: Oh well, not really complaining though. The both of us have been rather deprived from sleep, so I guess it is only fair to let him have his rest.

We drove to Marina Barage for our picnic, and thank god it was neither raining nor too sunny! In fact, it was rather breezy, just the way I like it to be. (: I was so famished I couldn’t help but to take a few mouth of food from the lunchbox during the car ride! It was my first time there so Baby was the one bringing me around. I love exploring new places with this boy. (:

Jon’s Grandma specially prepared dinner for me, so we grabbed our dinner before heading over to The Chevrons for Jeffery’s 21st birthday party. Had my fair share of fun at the party with fellow DOPT peeps, and it was nice sitting down sharing about different happenings in our lives. Baby had to leave halfway to pick his Dad off from work, and he made a detour to pick me up thereafter, so I could spend slightly more time with my friends. (:

Later that night, Jon’s friends came over to his place for a drinking session. Oh gosh it was so damn hilarious and funny I enjoyed myself so much! Played Circle of Death and Amanda has gotta be the slowest reaction of all most of the time, heehee! The drinks and the laughter was a really awesome way to end my night. Jon’s friends are just mad hilarious! I find it hard to hold back my laughter after hearing about their cock-up (the way that Baby describes it to be) secondary school stories and their funny actions/expressions! They had so much fun that they’re planning another night for this again. But I think I am going to miss the second round because of work though. ):

Met up with the DOPT peeps yesterday night to celebrate Jinglan’s birthday! :D Dinner at Marina Square’s Swensons wasn’t that pleasant to me after all, but the company was great. The waiter didn’t serve us our plain water for an hour (not until we asked for it), and my share of salmon & mushroom baked rice was tasteless. I bet I can cook something better than theirs. /: Thank goodness for the noisy bunch of people that made that night more enjoyable! :D

Ever since I’ve started working, these are the group of people I’ve been meeting up with rather frequently. Perhaps it isn’t really that difficult to keep in close contact with each other even though we are working under long retail hours. (:

Before meeting up with these people, I decided to bring myself out to shop a little! Cotton On was it, and I burnt my pocket a little. With that, I am not going to pamper myself any more for the rest of the month (I probably said this a million times) and drafted out my officially monthly financial planning draft. Gonna carry it out strictly from next month onwards, and I hope I am disciplined enough to do so.

On a really random note, this customer of mine (who happens to be a director for BBC in Singapore, or so he claimed) bought two pairs of glasses from me and wanted to date me out for dinner. Apparently both of his glasses were ready for collection, but he only wanted to pick up one of them so that “he has a reason to come back.” -.-” He asked if he could bring me out for dinner on my birthday, so I messaged Jon and told him about it.

HAHAHA, Jon’s reply was just classic it made me laugh to myself like a fool seriously! That boy…. he is just my biggest weakness and heart throb. <3

An advance birthday celebration for my dearest girlfriend! (:

Yesterday night was an advance birthday celebration for Sook Fung at Supper Club with the girlfriends – Audrey, Jolyn, Kay Minn, Linda, March, Meilin and Sook Fung. Couldn’t join the girls earlier due to work, but my second time clubbing experience with them was enjoyable. Not forgetting that it was Ladies Night with an additional privilege of getting free drinks since Sook Fung’s brother’s working there! I practically didn’t spend a single cent at the club, woots! :D

The drinks was fine, the music wasn’t really fantastic (but heard that it got better after I left), but dancing with these awesome people was great! :D

Gotta be honest that I’m lazy and tired after photoshopping all the pictures, so here’s my pictorial entry to sum up the night of fun I had! (:

Left early with Audrey and March at about 1.30am since I can’t really stand staying up too late and partying through the night! Quite sad, but oh well, that’s probably one reason why I don’t really club.

Wanted to sleep in today, but woke up to Jon’s call because he wanted to check that he didn’t hear any voice of a guy beside me. Hahaha, that boy’s crazy (and of course he was kidding). The main purpose of calling me was to ask if I wanted to get a 13″ or 15″ Macbook Pro since his school was having some promotion which is cheaper along with the addition of a free iPod Touch! :O He made me so happy, until he told me that the 13″ was out of stock. ): Should I go for the normal Macbook then? Please give me some opinions, especially existing Macbook users! Anyway, I really appreciate this boy’s thought of getting me the Macbook! :D

Since I’ve taken a day off from work, I spent most of the day at home. But it wasn’t so much of resting, but working on the company’s website (which I hope to launch before April). In addition, Icouldn’t find myself falling asleep despite lying on the bed and suffering from a lack of sleep. ):

Headed to St. Margaret’s for alumni band and it was fun! Missed playing the flute, and my fingers are getting a little rusty when it comes to running notes. ): But all in all, I enjoyed the 2-3 hours of band practice with the same old familiar faces. (: Nice to hear from Shu Feng about her wedding updates too, and I’m so excited for her! :D I know there’s gonna be loads of preparation and sweat, but it all sounds so fun! Gotta start thinking of what would make a good wedding present soon!

Then… it made me think of how I’d want my wedding to be like, even though it’s a long way to go!

It was March’s 21st birthday yesterday, and the girls all met up to celebrate this very special day of hers! Her very doting boyfriend booked a room in Crowne Plaza Hotel (5* hotel, or so I heard) for all of us to just enjoy this day with her. Apparently he couldn’t join us because he has got classes to attend!

Met up with Jeanna at T3 after work, and we planned to keep March in the dark about the entire surprise for her. But apparently, she’s not a very good actress because March kinda knew what was going on even though she just played along. But she definitely didn’t know that the room was booked by Eugene, which was really sweet of him! (:

So when March and Rebekah arrived, we just sat at McCafe and just caught up a little with each other while the other group was up in the room preparing the entire place!

March was pleasantly surprised, and the room looked really beautiful! The open concept actually meant that you can actually see your partner shower with just a clear glass that separates the room from the bathtub! :O But the view from the room was beautiful, with the airport’s control tower and the hotel’s pool in sight! (: We played black jack, in between, had fastfood takeaways for dinner, and then a cake that was arranged by Eugene too! Bet March loved it since it was chocolate! (: I bet she must be feeling really happy that her boyfriend actually put in so much effort to make her 21st a memorable and pleasant one with her friends despite not being to join in the fun!

We made her wear her bikini and brought her down to the pool which was already closed. Were supposed to be just walking and looking around, but Josco did the right move by initiating to push her down into the pool just as planned! :D The girls then made her swim across the pool with the helium balloons tied to her hands. It was quite an entertaining and hilarious sight!

Went back to the room, and then we played Twister! :D It has been such a long time since I last played with that, and it was mad funny and tiring! As much as I wish that I was a soft spoken and a demure young lady, I am a far cry away from that. Being unglam, sadly,  is probably one of my forte I believe. ):

Instead of staying over, I had to go back home since I’ve gotta go for my employment signing the very next morning. Bet I missed out on a lot more fun that I already had before! I hope the girl had a blast on her 21st, which I really believe she did! :D I still love you heap loads babe, though we have been missing out a lot in each other’s lives. ):

Everyone’s 21st seems to be so amazing, fun and wonderful it’s making me feeling stressed! I don’t even know if I want to have a celebration any more because of all the trouble. Really wish to have a blast on my 21st birthday too, but honestly… I’m kinda lazy and all. I am so bleak. /: July’s will not arrive so soon anyway, so I can just take my own sweet time and decide on what I’d wanna do (or not)!

On a side note, it’s CLS Dinner & Dance tomorrow (later tonight rather), and I am actually getting very hyped up and excited already! The thought of the girls coming over to my place in the afternoon to dress and make up, then looking all so glamorous and gorgeous is making me really excited heehee! It’s gonna be some girly time in the afternoon, I like! :D Hope that D&D tomorrow would be fun! :D

Since school has been out, my life has been really exciting and fun! Loving life big time right now hee! :D Not forgetting that I’ll be heading to Bangkok next week with my friends, and this is gonna be so exciting! All before I officially enter the workforce! :D

I promise to make an attempt to keep my life exciting whenever I’ve a chance too, though working definitely means less fun. Will have to learn to strike a balance between excelling at work and having my fair share of fun. (:

It was Stacey’s 21st Birthday Chalet on Sunday, and I rushed back home to get prepared the moment I got home from the Kukup trip! It was such a mad rush, and I had to find ways to dress up for her party’s theme where we had to dress like a cartoon character/actress/singer/anyone! And since my creativity juices failed me, the most appropriate outfit as suggested by Stacey was to act as Bella Swan. I thought it was quite a Fail in my case. ):

Though I looked like crap, and Stacey looked really awesome and cute with her pseudo-mouse ears, I hope that my dearest enjoyed her birthday bash to the fullest! :D Sorry that I couldn’t stay over my dear although I really wanted to. ): But I guess it’s okay, because we’ll have stay over sessions soon yes?! We need to start working on our plan really soon! :D

Anyway, I went for my very first official job interview today with Ziwei and it went really smoothly. The job offered me a 5 day/week (when I was expected at least a 5.5day/week considering it’s in the retail line) and the pay was more than what I have quoted! How awesome is that?! :D Will be heading down on Friday morning to sign the contract with Ziwei, and would probably start work proper in April. (: Looking forward to be financially independent, and to pamper my loved ones too. (: I guess one good thing about being an Optometrist is that you’re always in demand, at least for now! ;D Let’s just hope that I’ll be posted to a good outlet with awesome colleagues who will guide me along the way.

Really proud of myself that I am taking a step out of my comfort zone and go through all the hardship. I am young and I want to explore what’s out there. I hope I’ll love my job. (:

On a side note, I am really missing the Boyfriend terribly. Really bad in fact I feel like crying soon. I really need to be with him right now to ease all this crazy emotions I am going through. I honestly, seriously, feels that no one understands what I am going through.

27th & 28th Feb 2010: Post-grad weekend getaway to Kukup with DOPT peeps
This weekend has been nothing short of fun and a whole new load of experience! :D

The weekend was spent with almost 20 of my fellow DOPT mates on a short post-grad getaway trip to Kukup together! I had so much fun and was so glad that I decided to give myself the green light for this trip despite wanting to save money. It’s very worth it. :D I’d also like to add that this is the first trip I went without my family and Jon, and that it isn’t a school trip too! Would say that there would be many more trips with my friends to come! ;D

Saturday morning saw me waking up early, heading to Hougang where the mini bus that we hired would pick Pei Yu, Yan Shan and I up from. Drove off to the subsequent different destinations to pick the other people up, and we were off to Malaysia! :D Just so you know, there were two mini bus that were hired, and apparently our group got lost at the Malaysia customs and couldn’t find the bus! It was mad hilarious because we walked all the way to the bridge leading to City Square instead to where the mini bus were parked! While everyone was taking their nap, Ziwei and I talked throughout the hour long drive to Kukup. (:

I only realised that I have been to Kukup many times before with my family, not knowing what the place’s called. -.-” Not a very clean town, but isn’t that the fun of it? We settled at a restaurant for lunch, and had seafood! Though I’d say that the seafood taste only mediocre when I expected a little more than that. /:

Despite all the prior expectations I have, I would say that I can still live with the conditions I am given and that I am quite adaptable!

Welcome to Kukup!

Settled down at our chalet unit after meal, and it was in a part of Kukup which I have never got to explore before! (: It was basically our own free time to mingle around for the rest of the day thereafter, so some of us played mahjong and cards, while the others sang karaoke or napped.

This is the vicinity of where we stayed in when it’s low tide. So… all our waste products will be disposed directly into the water, and you also find fishes and mudskippers in it too.

Dinner was prepared by the people who dealt with our chalet unit (I heard that they own the house, just that they rent it out) and our meals! They helped us BBQ our food, and it was all prepared for us. Felt like some kind of royalty without having you to clean up any thing or even to prepare your own BBQ pit to have a BBQ dinner! How awesome is that? :D BBQ stingray, sotong, otah, fishballs, vegetables, corn, chicken wing, sausages.. A very satisfying dinner indeed!

After dinner, we played with fireworks! Not fire sparklers, but fireworks that you see during National Day Parade and such! :D It was my virgin attempt at it, and it wasn’t as scary/dangerous as I thought it’d be! In fact, it was a hell lot of fun, excluding how some of the fireworks can be really loud! And by the way, we used joss sticks to light up the fireworks and not lighters/matchsticks! I bet if I were to do this alone, I’d use the latter and may even cause some accident. /:

Fire crackers!
Although the bamboo stick used to hold the fire crackers were damn long, there were still things that flew from the crackers and hit the leg repeatedly of whoever’s holding on to the stick. Also, the fire crackers are mad loud I hate it! Can cause major deafening effect I swear! /:

It’s pretty fun playing with this, especially when the rocket flies sky high into the sky and burst into pretty fireworks! :D But it is sure loud the moment it’s gonna blast off!

This wasn’t done by us, but some random group of people (who seems like a whole bunch of relatives gathering together) that was playing with the fireworks near the open area we were playing on. It was heard that they spend $20k every year just on fireworks during CNY! :O But you gotta agree that this set of fireworks is really beautiful, isn’t it?! :D

After all the fireworks (which was about 12am already!), we walked back to our unit and had yu sheng! :D It was quite a messy event when everyone just threw the food as high as possible to symbolise good luck! And apparently the yu sheng actually taste quite good! I was called disgusting because I used my hands and ate the mango in the yu sheng which Yiliang and Jinglan (or was it Janice) were fighting over directly instead of using the chopsticks. I mean, after all the throwing and tossing, our hands were already covered with yu sheng right? /: Then again, I would only behave like that with people I feel comfortable with, heh heh.

We also celebrated Janice & Sean’s (not gonna call him Mr Lee anymore since we’ve already graduated) birthday, though they already had their respective celebrations prior to this trip already! A good way to sum up the entire month too! (:

After which, we played with more fireworks! :D

Showered, and did whatever we wanted for the rest of the night. Unlike the others who can survive without sleep, I had to hit the sack at about 4am or so. /: Anyway, Jia Sheng’s damn weak! Some of the guys were playing Black Jack, but instead of using money, they used Beer. His face turned mad red after on can of beer, and then he concussed. -.-”

Sunday – Woke up around 10 plus and I was still feeling tired. I bet everyone were feeling the same as well. Some of the girls got a little bored with just staying in our unit the entire time, so we went out to walk around a little. But we returned back in less than 5 minutes because the sun is just crazy. /:

I went to the living room only to see that everyone’s just knocked out! O.O

We went out to the sea and visited a mini fish farm! Quite an experience, even though the entire place had a really fishy smell. (:

When we got back to ashore, we bought loads of goodies from a provision shop! Bought some junkies back for my family & Jon’s too! Nom nom nom! :D Settled at one of the restaurants along the road for lunch, and it’s one of the restaurants that my family dine in whenever we visit Kukup too! Ordered my usual coconut pudding which is really smooth! :D In addition, the food that was served tasted better than the restaurant we dined in the day before!

The entire trip cost about less than $150 only! Considering that we got people to serve us our food (e.g. BBQ, and seafood too!) and the huge fun we got from playing the fireworks, it was definitely worth it! :D

But it’s only when we were playing with the fireworks, I really missed Jon as hell. Looking at how happy Jeff & his girlfriend, Yiliang and Hweeying was together, taking really awesome and nice photos with the fireworks. Gotta admit that I was really envious of them, and it made me missed Jon a hell lot. ): Wished he was there with me to enjoy such amazing and exciting moments together. It’s true that sometimes, all I wish for is just to be together with him, even though we still function perfectly well independently. There’s nothing more that I want than to be beside Jon. ):

Alright, it took me a lot of time to finish this entry! /: Still have got Stacey’s 21st birthday party to blog about too, but in the next entry! Meanwhile, I’m gonna crash now since I gotta wake up early and go for dental & a job interview thereafter, followed by work. It’s gonna be a really long day tomorrow! Wish me luck! :D

It was Amanda’s birthday yesterday, and her celebration was over brunch at Spruce. Met up with her friends -Vneo, Emeline and YJ – at City Hall to get some Helium balloons, but by the time I reached they were already done with shopping for the decorative items! Not that I was late, but they were early, and I promise I am not lying!

Took a cab down to Spruce, stuffing all the helium balloons in the boot of the car. We were quite afraid that the balloons will fly away the moment we opened the boot! I’ve always wanted to dine at Spruce because of it’s beautiful ambience, and I was glad I did on this girl’s very special day. (: We tied the balloons to every chair, just the way Amanda wished for on her 21st.

Would definitely love to bring the boy there one day just to spend our lazy afternoon away.

When Amanda arrived, she looked really happy! We played some introductory games with her friends, since we don’t know everyone that was there, and it was fun. (: I forgot what’s the name of the game though. Amanda’s friends were damn hilarious I kept laughing. Was glad that Randy was there too, because he’s one other mutual friend I knew since Jon & I got together. And it has been such a long time since I last saw him too! It was nice to know that he’s doing well and will be finishing his national service soon!

Randy called me to help him out with preparing the cake for Amanda while she went to the toilet! Some of her friends got some sparkling candles, and it was mad difficult to light them up! Not forgetting how quickly they turn into ashes and the first layer of cream had to be removed before consumption. Randy’s very good at that though!

Since Amanda told me she’d love to receive a big card and that money would cheapen everything, I made her a card with a mini notice board! I am glad that Amanda liked the gift I made for her, though it was really simple. Took some pictures of it while I was working on it, but not the final product. Reason? Laziness!

Alright, I should go pack my luggage for the trip to Kukup in Malaysia with my DOPT mates tomorrow! Will only be back on Sunday, which will also be Stacey’s 21st birthday chalet. What a tight schedule I have upon graduation, I like! :D

Speaking of which, I really have no idea what I should dress up as when the theme of her party is Drama. Now who am I supposed to dress up to mimic as?! Actress, actor, cartoon character, just something! Please give me some suggestions, or I’d have to have a pair of stocks stuffed over my head as a form of punishment as stated by Stacey Li. ):

Now it’s only left with FYP Presentation (which is on Monday) and Clinical Test. One more week of school before I set free! And hey, I’ve already got the whole of the next week packed with activities right after freedom arrives! :D

It’s weird. This CNY, I’ve been only having 1 meal a day with hardly any CNY goodies popping into my mouth. Well, almost for the whole of CNY. Jon said I’m crazy because CNY has the most goodies, which is true! Whatever happened to my appetite? /: Perhaps it’s a good chance to work towards size 2 (hahaha)!

On Wednesday, Jeremy invited me over to their house to join in the gambling fun along with his fellow classmates (who are my year one juniors, but I only know one or two). /: I have never seen so many shoes outside The Chau’s residence before. :O Only joined his friends to play at a later time because I become quite an introvert when it comes to meeting a big crowd that I don’t know. /:

Thursday was a long day at school, finalising on the business report and getting it ready for submission. Was late for the meeting because I only had 4 hours of sleep the day before. Insomnia sucks so bad. ): Submitted the report, and then it was working on FYP slides. It was such a long day!

When I went to the station planning to head back home, I met the bunch of DOPT peeps who were on their way to Bugis for the steamboat session which I turned down. But in the end, I went with them instead because I got dragged down. Didn’t really regret it, though I was dead tired. But there’s this huge problem with me when it comes to having steamboat, because I only have the usual few; mushrooms (heap loads of them, really!), vegetables, and fishballs just to name a few. Sometimes that meat-eater in me is so tamed it doesn’t even function at all.

Then there was this surprise birthday celebration for Mr Lee as well! He seemed a little surprised with the birthday celebration as well. Zi Wei and I smeared some cream into his face, and thankfully his revenge failed! Wouldn’t want to have cream all over my face!

There was supposed to be this yu sheng session, but because there isn’t any around they used an overload of tang hoon (that was soaked in the soup) as a substitute! Oh gosh, it was so retarded but fun! Things you do as a student, priceless. (:

So the CNY vibes are almost over. It’s back to school, and I just gotta hang in there a little while more. Mad schedule up with me right now, and freedom smells so near yet so far! The thought of graduating (though unofficially) makes me really hyped up! But when it comes to making post-graduation plans, I don’t quite like it. ):

On a side note, I’m looking forward to receiving my Valentine’s Day present from my dearest when his Dad and both his brothers visits him in Melbourne this March! How lucky is this boy? He has got visitors every year! Though I think his gift is going to be some silly one (because he sounded like it was over the phone), I’m looking forward to receiving it.

Meanwhile, I gotta start cracking my head on Stacey & Amanda’s birthday gifts, and of course making an anniversary gift for Jon so that his brothers can help me bring it over for him (though it’ll make it a super advance gift). What should I get for him? I hate cracking my brains for getting gifts because of the lack of creativity in me. ): Would love to do something handmade and personalised though! But people, please give me some suggestions! No clothes, because I’ve already got him plenty of clothes. I hate cracking my brains on what gifts to get, especially when it comes to guys.

It’s only Tuesday and the week already made me feel so much better than before! :D Maybe it’s the pre-graduation syndrome has went away and the pre-CNY syndrome is here to stay! q: But of course I’m very aware that I’ve got a major test this coming Friday – Competency Test. I hope everything goes well and smooth then!

Just came back from the hair salon with my hair trimmed, but not so much of a different look which I hoped for initially. ): Damn glad that my usual hairstylist gave me some advice regarding the few hair issues I pointed out to him.

It was Janice’s advance 21st birthday celebration last Saturday night, and it was fun! :D It was held at her cousin’s gargantuan house! The guys played football on PS3, had a crazy laughing time with the girls along with Windi on the swing, and then there was mahjong. What a getaway in the midst of a crazy school schedule! (:

Looking at how close Janice is with her family made me felt so envious! Then I felt really guilty that I haven’t been spending good quality time with my family too. ): I promise to do so when school’s all out, and should also make use of CNY to do so too! (:

Left the place when it was almost midnight, and I decided to try my luck to catch the last train! Took the circle line to Serangoon, and I already missed the last train to Harbour Front! ): Had no choice but to try my luck with the last bus, and thankfully it did! Scared the hell out of me when I saw that I already missed the time for the last bus on the board, and it really turns me off when I have to catch a cab. /:

Oh oh, and guess what! I am such a blur toot omg. I wore the wrong pair of havaianas home! ): When I was on the bus back, I was wondering how come my slippers felt so different (because mine had the smiley face stud) and indeed it wasn’t there! Called Janice immediately and it turned out that my pair was still at her cousin’s place and I actually wore her pair. I’m such a joke with my muddle headedness sometimes. -.-” Thankfully it was Janice’s and not her friend’s or anyone else’s!

Have been going for so many 21st birthday parties or celebration it’s starting to make me think if I should have a birthday celebration too. How?!

Met up with Stacey darling yesterday for an impromptu dinner before she fly off. Had dinner at ION’s AOBA Hokkaido Ramen, and it was really filling! The texture of the ramen was different from Ajisen’s, but I was glad I was feeling a little more adventurous rather than to settle for the usual Ajisen. (:

Stacey was just damn amused with the way I was carrying the polaroid camera like a handbag. Is it that amusing?! /:

We went to Far East to search for some last minute CNY shopping, but left empty handed. Headed to Plaza Singapura because she wanted to use the $50 voucher that Ben gave her. On the train ride to Dhoby Ghaut, we were talking some mean stuff and then it turned out that we board the wrong train and headed to Newton instead. Oh gosh, that’s what we called Karma. Stacey’s expression was classic when she heard that the next station was Newton. And though I didn’t caught that, I burst into laughter when I saw expression and I instantly knew what was wrong. It was extremely hilarious I suffered from stomach cramps!

Then again, I call this chemistry. You don’t need words to communicate and exactly know what each other’s thinking. Priceless. (:

Happy loots from Cotton On with discounts all over, and I got a pair of feathered earrings at only $1! :D Super contented hee! :D

I can always count on this girl to bring a smile n my face. I love my Soulmate, big time.

I never thought that I’d meet real friends in poly, and I was so wrong about this.

Definitely one of the most spontaneous group of friends I have. <3

Happy things first, today’s the last day of my weekday clinic! :D And though it’s a full day session, I had some form of positivity to keep me going through the day! :D

After clinic ended at about 6pm, I went over to find my favourite bunch of course mates for a sporty session after school. But apparently I was so hungry I decided to have dinner first while the rest headed to the court straight, and I had the company of Janice and Yan Shan! :D Talked so much over dinner, it’s making me think and sway my stand. Hate how it influences me, but I love talks like these.

Headed over to court, but the three of us couldn’t join the game because we were feeling a little too full and bloated. q: Not long after they stopped for a break, it was a surprise birthday celebration for Ziwei. (:

Annoying BFF. I’m short but whatever. Anyway THEANTS top isn’t mine. Mr Lee lent it to me because my shirt was soaking wet I can survive if I lived in the dessert. -.-”

Two of my closest guy friends, cum FYP mates, in poly. I love them (because I look damn fair beside them, hahaha)!

After all the fun of smearing whip cream on each other, playing with fire hose which I got soaking wet in, we got back to playing sports. The bet was that the losing team had to eat up the remaining Panda cake! I was soaking wet after sweating it all out, and it felt really good. Really had to take time out for sessions like this. Makes me feel a lot healthier and happier. (:

And this is probably the only reason why I will miss school. I will miss going out with my friends and have some fun, I’ll miss having our lecturers joining us in sessions like these, I miss seeing my friends in formal wear and slippers in the court playing sports together. Mr Lee’s definitely one of the most spontaneous lecturer who goes shopping and joins us for our hangout sessions. Never thought that I’d experience such a closely-knitted relationship between students-lecturers/teachers.

I really love my Optometry family.

Not forgetting that I am feeling very appreciative of my parents too! My Dad has been really willing to send and pick me up from school/work without any complains. He probably understands how tired and drained I am. Have been falling asleep on the rides home, but it is really nice to have days like today, where my family actually kept aside some popiah and chicken wings for me. Really appreciate it, and I love my family tonnes for that. (:

Work today was very demanding of me. I have been doing refraction non-stop till about 4pm. And I only get to have my first meal of the day at 4pm! Was like a total jelly because I was tired and a little hungry, and all I did was pray that my stomach wouldn’t growl while I was doing the eye checks. Audrey popped by with Xiu Xiang and she got me a brownie bar from IKEA! Totally appreciate it babe! :D

Although working in a shop means long hours, longer than school hours to be exact, I really enjoy myself. Gotta admit that there are bad times at work too, but I really get a sense of achievement from work especially days that I can really give advice to people! Maybe I just enjoy talking and people listening to me. Hopefully this kind of mindset and positivity will stay with me through the years! (:

I guess I do deserve to pamper myself in a crazy month like this! Thought that these clothes would be something I’d wear to work, and maybe I’ll just wear them for Chinese New Year too! Killing 2 birds with 1 stone! (Y) But apparently I only received 1 out of 5 items that I ordered. Hope that I will receive them really soon! :D

Though I really love most of Agneselle’s dresses, I think it’s time for me to stop getting dresses because it makes me lazy. I’m losing a lot of my creativity juices to mix and match my clothes just because all I need to do is to slip into my 1-piece clothings. Need to shop for clothes, bags and shoes. I want everything and this is terribly bad! /:

On a side note, I’ve 3 major reasons why I am looking forward to the end of February:

1. End of school!
2. I’m going for the School of Chemical and Life Sciences Dinner & Dance (Prom)! :D Apparently I think I am going to wear the dress I bought from Melbourne, which I haven’t got a chance to wear yet.
3. Bangkok Graduation trip: Think of massaging, shopping, food, sea sports and gay shows! How exciting! :D

Rushed back home after clinic yesterday, and then headed off to Linda’s humble home for her private 21st birthday party! (: There was a feast waiting for us! Though I was really tempted to wipe out the entire table, I ate very little. Considering the fact that Audrey dropped the crab into my soup! (Hahahaha, you better pay me one bowl of soup Audrey!) Finally saw Wen Shao and Yoke Chong, the two crazy guys whom I haven’t seen in forever!

The widespread of food! The ngor hiong is the best, and it’s making me hungry now omg!

Sitting beside you for dinner doesn’t seem to be a very good idea, right Audrey?! Hahaha.

After dinner, we played Rayman Raving Rabbits Wii and it was so much fun! My arms literally had a huge load of lactic acid build up, but I didn’t want to stop it from accumulating because it was just too fun! I was going crazy from it. Did random things like watching movie, roaming around the house talking to different people before the cake cutting session!

Linda’s cake is so bimbotic, all pinky just the way she wants it! But surprisingly the cake tasted better than it looks! I secretly wanted to take a second slice but I know I had to stop. Sometimes I feel so proud of myself when I practice self discipline. But one of the reason I need to really cut down on my food intake is because of how fat I look right now, and I haven’t been working out. ): I promise I’ll hit the gym immediately after I am done with this crazy phase of life, and then get back in shape.

We even had a yum seng session, and I think we were really loud! Okay, I think it was Sook Fung who started the whole thing. -.-” Then Jeanna started smearing some of the cake’s cream on Linda’s face, and surprisingly Linda was willing!

Played mahjong with March, Wen Shao and Yoke Chong! I need to touch the tiles more often, it’s so fun even though I don’t know what I am doing most of the time. /: I don’t even know if I win or lose at the end since I never even bother to count the tokens after the game.

I had fun at Linda’s, more fun when you get to see the same old familiar faces. (: I hope this girlfriend of mine will have a homely birthday celebration on the actual day itself, love you babe. (:

Went to tour at the new Optometry Centre in SP, and oh boy it is so beautiful! Gotta admit that the space in each examination room is smaller than before, but it’s still so clean and neat. Love the colour concept though. The pity is that we only get to use this for 1 semester only. ):

Alright so now’s the question! Does anyone of you wants to have a free eye check/contact lens fitting session?! If so please approach me yes?! We’d basically check the refractive error (otherwise known as degree) and the health of the eye. I’d need to hit my quota for the semester too, so it’s a win-win situation! My clinic sessions are Tuesdays (afternoons), Fridays (afternoons) and Saturdays (mornings & afternoons) so please let me know when you’d prefer to do it alright?!

In-lieu of Jia Sheng’s 20th, I organised a birthday dinner which didn’t turn out to be quite a surprise since some people slipped it off their mouth! But anyway I didn’t put in any attempt to hide it from him either, so hahaha, my bad too! I hope he enjoyed his not-so-surprising dinner afterall. (:

Before dinner, some of us went to buy an organiser for Jia Sheng since he wanted one. We got him a gay-coloured one to suit his personality! Hahaha, but it wasn’t my idea though! Almost got him the pink one in fact. q:

Dinner at Shokudo, which left me feeling so stuffed when I only bought a main and a dessert! It’s a bit difficult for interaction when we got a long table to accommodate 16 people. ): I had a huge share of laughter that night though. Especially sitting beside Janice who was being exceptionally retarded that day for some reason! I had my share of fun with the company I had. (:

The food was not too bad, and I love my dessert! First time trying the Tofu Cheesecake and I fell in love with it totally! :D Shall try out all the tofu cheesecakes soon! :D I’ve a sweet tooth, and basically I’m just a glutton. Will go quite a mile to find good food! Even better if it’s cheap market food! But sometimes, I just like to go for somewhere with nice ambience. Gotta admit I’m a sucker for this. q:

Jia Sheng fractured his middle finger while gymming last week, and his fingernail fell out. 2 other guys (Matt & Junyi) went to bandage their middle finger for some reason too. Hahaha, probably trying to mimic his poor finger.

I was thinking what exactly makes me want to graduate so quickly from school? Then I realise that it isn’t the fact that I hate schooling, or that I want to start earning my money quickly. But the fact that I really dread reading journals and FYP. ): Sigh, I’ve got to read about 10 journals (maybe about 10 pages long each) for the Mid-semester tests. All so sleep inducing and difficult to understand, let alone getting them into my head. I hope they’ll all be over really soon. ):

It’s Sunday morning, and I’m already planning out what to do for a home day like this! And since there’s only my youngest brother and I for dinner today, I’m thinking of cooking a simple Japanese meal. I don’t want to be to lazy and end up buying fast food or takeaways. Must learn to be a little more domesticated!

In lieu of Jeanna’s birthday today, we went to Azabu Saboat Marina Square for dinner with the Girlfriends, Wen Shao and Shuwen. Almost full attendance from the girls, except that Meilin wasn’t there. ): Finally saw Sook Fung after such a long time, and her standard of humour is as low as ever, lol. She just makes you wanna go -.-” at her all the time when she laughs, hahaha. We got Jeanna a cake from Hans, and a bag too. (:

The food at Azabu Sabo was bleak. Didn’t felt like my money went to worth at all. /: I ordered Spicy Kimchi Ramen and it wasn’t even spicy at all. I know I’ve a relatively high tolerance for spice, but it isn’t even spicy at all. Not the slightest bit! March said her Japanese Curry tasted instant, and that must be really sad for the chef to know. /: Edible food, but not fantastic.

We settled down at Starbucks after that, because Jolyn needed her caffeine for her night shift. With only a cup of drink, all of us dominated the sofa seats, talked and made loads of noise. Inevitable in a St. Marg’s gathering I guess! Jolyn & Sook Fung left, while the rest of us went to Esplanade’s rooftop because the birthday girl wanted to. Ended up laughing at all the silly acts and random talks. Not forgetting trying to reenact our memories too!

A really short, yet simple and lovely time spent with the girls. Will try to get the individual pictures uploaded to the gallery I’m trying to get working soon! Extracting the files from my uploaded zip file takes forever, I swear! /: If only I can upload the pictures as efficient/fast as how Picasa, it’d be almost perfect!
