You’re worth it

Scribbled on November 9th, 2010 • 1:10 am

It has been so long since I had two consecutive off days, and it definitely feels really good. I think I need a longer break because somehow two days don’t seem to be enough for me. Now I am wondering if I should take an additional day or two away from work just before I fly, just so that I can get enough rest and spend a little more time with my family before I fly.

Met up with Amanda for lunch in the afternoon after her facial session, and we settled for lunch at The Handburger. I realised that both my dining experience there ended up in a mess. I can never eat burgers that are huge, and eating it with a fork and knife spells flying food. /:

Scribbled on November 3rd, 2010 • 12:22 am

Came back home from work, only to be surprised to see this.

My eyes literally went O.O.

But it made me go awwww inside. <3

Steamboat with The Chaus at my humble home (:

Scribbled on July 27th, 2010 • 12:46 am

Dinner with The Chaus at my place, along with my Grandma on Saturday night. The night was fun, and I was glad it wasn’t awkward at all. The kids (our brothers, Jon & I) played the drinking game and laughed a hell lot from being bloated with water, while the adults were having their adult talk. My house is not even this neat and tidy on Chinese New Year!

And guess what’s the first thing Jon said when his family entered? “Let me bring you to my room.” -.-

The way you take my hand is just so sweet, it knocks me off my feet.

Scribbled on July 19th, 2010 • 12:16 am

Friday and Saturday has been really good to me. It’s the first time that I took a consecutive off days ever since I started working, and it was really good to me. (:

Baby stayed over on Thursday night, because both of us had the intention of sleeping in the next morning. But that poor boy had to sacrifice his sleep and wake up at 7am just to help my Dad run some errands while I sleep in. I really appreciate your acts a lot my dear. <3

Life has been nothing less than great (:

Scribbled on July 10th, 2010 • 12:59 am

Haven’t been blogging in awhile because my life has been really packed lately. Not forgetting about the fact that I am also busy trying to figure out how to work my new Macbook! I am still trying to get the hang of it, and I’ve to learn all the shortcuts all over again. (People who has done projects with me would know that I am actually quite good and fast with all the shortcuts on windows)

Anyway, on the actual day of my birthday – Wednesday – Jon and I had trouble deciding on whether we should have my birthday lunch at Forlino or Privé since I wanted to visit these places since a while ago! Anyway, we decided on Privé and I really love the view from the restaurant. Looking at the clear blue sky and the yatch being docked pier helped lightened my mood by a whole lot. Would love to revisit this place, but at Privé Cafe & Bakery instead! (:

An afternoon at The Chau’s

Scribbled on June 27th, 2010 • 12:14 am

My only off day of the week, and the afternoon was spent at The Chau’s because I miss J so much. It was really nice to see J running towards me licking me all over when I reached. Jon’s Mom said he seemed really happy to see me. :D

(A dog-ful entry ahead, and nothing more/less!)

By far the busiest off day! :D

Scribbled on June 17th, 2010 • 12:11 am

It’s my off day again, and it’s a busy one! Met up with Stacey Soulmate at Dover and we headed down to the Optometry Centre to be subjects for Eng Heng’s FYP! Yay to easy money heehee! :D Felt so happy meeting up with Stacey even though it wasn’t a proper date or anything like that. (:

Had lunch at Clementi’s Botak Jones because I was craving for the cheese mashed potatoes! It still taste as good, but I’m quite sad that the portion shrunk. ):

Perhaps this is a new start

Scribbled on June 5th, 2010 • 11:37 pm

A thank you to whoever that shared my sadness and sorrows for the death of Porsch on the previous entry. I really miss that little chap still, but I guess it’s time to move on. I hope he’s in somewhere better right now.

Met up with Emily on Tuesday, and I felt really bad because I received the call from Jerwin about Porsch’s accident just 5 minutes before I could meet Emily. So when she saw me, I was already tearing like an idiot, and she had to give me loads of tissue paper and watch me tear over the phone. ): I even shortened our meet up duration because I wanted to rush over to The Chau’s residence to see if everything’s okay. Sorry babe! Let’s have a proper meet up really soon again, alright?! :D
