Now the the wedding is over, I can finally share the pictures that Jon and I took during our pre-wedding shoot in Melbourne. We have been an avid lover of going on road trips basking into the subtle beauty of Mother Nature, and our love story started because he had to leave to study in Melbourne; that’s why it is no surprise that we decided on having our wedding photo shoot done in a place that meant so much to us.
We wanted the idea of having our photos involving the outskirts of Melbourne instead of iconic tourist sites, and I guess that left us with quite a handful of research to do. Jon shortlisted on a couple of suburban areas for us to venture into, and we spent an enjoyable 2.5 days with our photographer. Kai made us feel so comfortable around her it didn’t take us too long to warm up to her presence during the shoot. Thank goodness the weather has been pretty kind to us throughout the days, except for times when it got a little to cold for me to be just wearing a gown. I’m really glad that Jon actually enjoyed himself through the entire time because he doesn’t have to bear with Singapore’s heat in the suits! I can’t believe how annoyed his expressions would be like if we had to deal with that.
The best thing about engaging Kai was not only the fact that she was a great photographer, her service was impeccable; real nice towards us and treated us more like a friend rather than her clients. After looking at all the photos that was delivered to us, we can only agree that the fatigue of waking up after a few hours of sleep was worth it. x
