Met up with Gwen and Jolene for a Yum Cha session at Yan Ting, St. Regis Hotel. Jolene recommended us to this place – apparently one of the best in Singapore – and it was really good. I’ve never had siew mai with so many prawns (> meat) in it ever before. I loved the custard bun but it was so small I could just swallow it in a bite. The three of us talked so much we literally amazed ourselves. Honestly, I can’t even believe how instagram – as impossible as it sounds – brought the three of us together and created a new friendship just like that. It still leaves me feeling amazed. The gluttons in us never stopped with just a meal, so we headed over to P.S. Cafe for the desserts thereafter.
It’s always good, and it definitely feels better, when I get to strike a balance with having some lovely time alone with the boyfriend and having some girly dates. x
