#3. Meilin’s Graduation in NUS, followed by a birthday dinner with the girls at Old Ponggol Seafood Restaurant
After the lovely brunch with my poly mates, I headed over to NUS to attend the graduation of my girlfriend. All of us were so proud of her, with her being the first to graduate from a local university. March and I were shocked to know that there were actually more people graduation from Medical school than the Nursing school. (Is it really that easy to get in geez.)
We headed over to Old Ponggol Seafood Restaurant because Sook Fung’s younger brother was one of the share holders and we could get good seafood at a discounted price! ;) As much as I love a westernized meal, it’s still Chinese cuisine that still warms my heart and makes me feel home any day. An impromptu drive over to Gardens by the Bay and it was quite a spectacular sight hearing music while being in the midst of the greens.
I had such a long day out on my birthday itself it was blissfully taxing. x
