สวัสดีค่ะ BANGKOK x TWO

DAY FOUR x Shopping at Siam Square x Virgin manicure & pedicure spa for only SGD40, which didn’t last because I am too much of a klutz x Dinner at Som Tam Nua which apparently has won quite a lot of awards. Best of all, it’s cheap. x DAY FIVE x Start of the Johnson & Johnson Vision Care Institute training (who sponsored my trip to Bangkok for work purposes) x Stayed at Renaissance Hotel x  Night out with Junwen – Dinner at Taling Pling, Oh Nut Night Market, desserts at Häagen-Dazs x DAY SIX x J&J TVCI day two x Dinner at Supatra River House

Second half of my trip revolved around work – attending seminars/classes like I was back being a student all over again. But it was fun because there wasn’t a single time that made me feel like I was bored to death. Everything that was said made me really engrossed and interested somehow. Work aside, Junwen and I managed to squeeze out some time to visit Oh Nut Night Market which Esther & I accidentally chanced upon on the first few days of our trip. A really small scaled local night market, and I bought quite a few items there leaving the place a happy girl. ☺ The train ride from one station to the other was so fast, so we decided to walk from one station to the other. Which turned out to be quite a bad decision to make because, firstly it wasn’t short and secondly, the further we went the quieter the place became it got pretty scary which involved us walking through little slum areas that were really dark.

Thank God we made it to the destination safely. ✌

  1. Omgggg. Looking at your photos at this hour makes me =hungry! And and, is that naked palatte real?!! HAHAHA. I wanna go back to bangkok omggg. So many things to buy!

  2. EMILY, I don’t have a lot of food photos during my trip, do I? And I doubt that the naked palette is real! It was sold on some street side stall! Heehee, Bangkok is definitely the best shopping place in my honest opinion! (Y) x

  3. Three things 1. Is your Olympus camera heavy? I’m looking for a nice looking slr but considerably lighter than my canon 500D camera.
    2. What market is that with all the makeup?
& number 3. Where is the place where you are eating that ridiculously amazing looking icecream?!

Other than that, I loved this post so much! Will definitely be following you on bloglovin when I get access to Internet my MacBook once again.

    • SHANN, I wouldn’t think that the Olympus camera is heavy since my other camera is the Canon 60D which is way heavier. I got it to replace the Canon when it would be inconvenient to carry the big camera around without compromising too much on the picture quality. (Yay to micro four thirds camera!). I can’t remember where is the market with all the make up. It is just a street stall along the road. And I believe the ice-cream you’re talking about is Haagan Dazs. Think you can probably get them anywhere in the world though. :P Hope these helped! x

  4. Thank you that was so helpful. Originally I wanted the e-pm1 but it had no more dial for apeture/shutter ect so I wet out & bought the ep3 today & am waiting for it to arrive! I hope it’s not too heavy because your photos really are amazing!
