DAY ONE x Lunch at Erawan Tea House x Visted the Four Faced Buddha at Erawan Shrine x Shopping at Siam Square x Chanced upon Oh Nut Night Market when we met up with Esther’s Dad to head for dinner at Tawadang German Microbrewery x DAY TWO x Shopping at Chatuchak – it has got to be the best place ever despite the heat and the crowd. You can find almost everything there. Puppies included. *awww so cute* x Extremely delicious Vietnamese noodles by a secluded corner of Chatuchak that only cost <SGD$2. x MBK to help some friends buy their items, but honestly is the most boring place to shop in Bangkok. x Dinner at Fuji Japanese Restaurant x DAY THREE x Shopping at Platinum Mall x Massage at Pyroma Health & Spa x Dinner at this really quaint and cosy cafe called My Corner with a live band playing melodious music in the background
If you haven’t already know, I just got back from my one week trip to Bangkok – partial shopping and partial work trip. But it was definitely a good getaway from Singapore. And retail therapy definitely is the best therapy, because I bought so much and it just never seems enough. Good and cheap shopping with quality clothes – that just sounds like the kind of thing that I’d totally go for. ☺ Chatuchak has got to be my favourite destination followed by Siam Square. Esther and I traveled around Bangkok mainly through the BTS (trains) and taxi which are so freaking cheap it just doesn’t make sense not to take them.
I’m already missing Bangkok, and I’m looking forward to planning on a trip there again. Hopefully it’ll be some time next year. ✘
