It’s the end of the first week of school, and it feel so good somehow! Maybe my Friday ended with me feeling satisfied, though I’ve to admit the start of the week was bleak for me. Oh well, at least I’m typing this entry with a relatively happy mood! :D

Today I felt really satisfied with myself during Ophathalmic Dispensing practical. Maybe because of the things I get to do at work, it helped me manage to finish all the tasks relatively swiftly. Not being complacent, but I feel satisfied with myself and grateful of the experience I get at work. In addition, I got to know my grades for Competency Test for the clinic component from the previous semester and I’m very satsified with myself! But I still believe I can do better than that. Last semester, gotta strive I hope! :D

As I look at so many things around me, I realise that I’m filled with envy. Life can get really unfair sometimes, or so I feel. If I didn’t remind myself to be strong constantly, I wouldn’t have got by the past few days in a breeze. If life’s all about working for the future and you’ve gotten so engrossed in it, remember not to neglect the present. Once you lose the present, your future goes away with it too.

Life is about placing bets and taking risk. Well, I hope you place the right bet this time round.

It’s the 2nd day of the last semester in Poly, with a pretty slack time-table that I’d love, though it doesn’t display how terribly busy we all would be.

And my schedule for the next two weeks will be:

• 21st Oct, Wed: School from 9am to 12pm, FYP meeting from 1pm till forever.
• 22nd Oct, Thurs: School from 8am to 12pm, FYP meeting from 2pm till forever.
• 23rd Oct, Fri: Full day at work.
• 24th Oct, Sat: Rest day. (St. Marg’s alumni band with the girls maybe?)
• 25th Oct, Sun: Full day at work.
• 26th Oct, Mon: FYP meeting from 12pm till forever, class from 3pm to 5pm.
• 27th Oct, Tues: Work at 3pm.
• 28th Oct, Wed: Class from 9am to 12pm, FYP meeting from 1pm to forever.
• 29th Oct, Thurs: Class from 8am to 12pm, FYP meeting from 2pm till forever.
• 30th Oct, Fri: Work (Full day/half day? Yet to decide)
• 31st Oct, Sat: Full day at work.
• 1st Nov, Sun: Rest day.

Wow, bless me much. 2nd day of school and I’ve already got my schedule for 2 weeks all packed and lined up for me. And my group mates, Zhun Hong in fact, came up with the term forever referring to staying in school till the night working on our FYP. It’s so funny to know that we’re going to work on FYP forever.

I’m in the library right now, and have wasted quite a bit of time on Facebook (doing nothing) and writing this entry. Shall go work on the first homework of the semester and then go off to work.

Call me a wonder woman. I think I can survive this! (Y)
