Home, not house.

Have you ever thought of how you’d want your house to look like in the future?! I really enjoy looking through sites that shows pretty pictures, and that includes food and interior design. Kills my time and it comes to me as a form of motivation somehow.

I guess one reason why I’m working so hard and leading a mundane life right now is not just working for the future that Jon & I have for the future. I want to own a comfortable home. Somewhere that I’d look forward to going back after a long day of work, somewhere that I’d choose to stay at home and drink tea by the balcony on a weekend. Somewhere quiet and serene, and somewhere I’d take pride in maintaining the cleaniness!

Perhaps it’s a little difficult to lead a life like this in Singapore. But I made a promise to myself; I’d slow down my pace of life after school’s out. Been leading a far too hectic and packed life I need to take things a little slowly.

All these houses are so pretty, and I’d really love to own something like them one day. I know these houses are not practical in Singapore since space is a huge constrain. But I want a pretty and comfortable house, that’s all.

Maybe I’m dreaming too much. But “dreams are today’s answers to tomorrow’s questions.” Furthermore, there’s no harm in dreaming. (:

Sook Fung, Hahaha do you think I’d forgo Singapore & move to Malaysia?! q: Though Malaysia’s houses are bigger and cheaper, I think I’d still prefer to stay in Singapore.

Stacey, Yea man. If only we own houses like that, we can have tea time together so fun!
